Flower heads and Candles
18th February 2020. 6:30pm – 9:00pm, Basingstoke.
When someone you care about dies, losing them leaves a big void.
Some days that void is manageable, other days it may feel as wide as a chasm. As a counsellor, in my work helping people cope with bereavement, I have an insight into the process which follows, including what it is like to feel alone. Even for people with a loving family and strong support network, loneliness can still exist.
Flower Heads & Candles is a new Support event, and is here to help you.
If somebody close to you has died (regardless of how long ago), and you would like the opportunity to understand some of the phases of grief, (and you live in or near Basingstoke), please join us. You will be with other people in a similar situation to you and can celebrate and remember the life of a loved one. You are more than welcome to come along with a friend or family member if that helps. We aim to provide support for those coping with:-
- Death of spouse, partner or child
- Death of a parent or grandparent
- Progressive illnesses
- End of life circumstances
There is no charge for attending this event – coffee tea and biscuits will be provided.
All we ask is for confirmation of attendance so we can plan for appropriate numbers. To register, please click here.
